YOU'RE ALL HERE LOOKING FOR SOME MAGIC, AREN'T YOU?

duh duh na na!! cici & i have officially lost our disney virginity. there is nothing in the world like the moment we boarded the ferry & saw the castle for the first time - except for, when we docked, & i dropped (& momentarily lost) my ticket and loudly exclaimed, for all children & costumed attendants to hear, "SHIT, CIERA!!" and had to go on a mousehunt until I found it, face down in the dirt.

anyway, enjoy a review of our good times!

the day that i get to step outside of my job and take part in a hannah montana parade is the day that i consider my life well lived.

this will forever be one of those most exciting moments of my young life.

God bless these poor men & women. It was literally hotter than 70 hells outdoors - and that's sans the full body suit.

okay, so the buzz lightyear grand adventure on ice or whatever it's called was totally one of my favorites. nothing says fun like cici & i spinning like loons and shooting enemies to our heart's content. win!

HELL YEAH!

THAT'S MY GIRRRRL!! (to be read as cedric diggory's father tearfully proclaimed, "THAT'S MY SON" after edward cedric bit the big one)

ciera, you dont even know how badly i want to frame this picture.

while fun & clearly due to my eternal love for anything/everything AIW, i would ride the teacups again - but I did sort of feel like my heart was going to come out of my butt.

get ready for adorable overload.

hi mtv welcome to my crib

minnie's awesome house!

doing a little cooking in the kitch

Mickey's adorable house!

I swear, he & minnie are my total OTP. I love his little minnie next to his bed.

After Mickey's house, I had the most exciting experience I have had in all my of years. Seriously.

I cropped a child out of this picture. I'm not sorry.

this was the actual cutest moment of my entire life. For starters, Ciera went up to them first and was just saying "AWWWWWWWW!!!!" with her arms outstretched, lmao. Mickey gave her kisses & I was honestly jealous lmao. So then I walked up to them and was waving like I was touched in the head and Minnie just held out her arms and I was like *collapses* lmao. It was the mecca of adorable. Then Mickey gave me a few kisses after our picture and Ciera & I left fueled on giggles - honestly just giggling and tittering to ourselves and turning over our shoulders to wave at them again. It was so adorable. I try to ignore the fact that there are probably grown men & women inside of these suits that will laugh at me later and just go with the flow.

it's princess time, bitches.

I am pretty sure that Sleeping Beauty was a Hanson fan. Pray God I never run into her at a show, that would be the ultimate humiliation. This awesome tattoo bearing pose was her idea, not mine. Highlights of this awesome conversation include: "mmmbop sounds like a catchy tune", & "i've only ever seen pirates with tattoos before". I dont know what to think, only that I love her.

I took pictures with the rest of these divas, too (as I dont typically make a point to walk around photographing Ciera) but I look like two shits, so those pictures have sadly gone to heaven. Oh well. I think Cinderella is a whiner anyway.

HELL YEAH!! we went a back way back to main street & ended up in this little AIW pathway. miracles do happen. However, thre is a special place in hell for the woman who told me the line for the White Rabbit had already been closed & that I could come back tomorrow. Grumbles.

A lunch interlude. We knew we were in heaven when they brought us a condiment spread without us even having to ask. So this IS the happiest place on earth!!

mama was thirsty!!

the fun resumes! this time, in ariel's (disgustingly hot) grotto. precious!

She was sort of a bitch, for a beloved mermaid. This is only because she made me pose like a complete twat with her & I'll never forgive it because I looked mentally unstable and therefore, the photo was ruined. Which wasn't really her fault, but still. STILL.

a little parade fun, a twirl on the carousel & a trip past the HAUS later (ps, i would do peter pan & again, not even sorry)

it's a small world. i swear i can't hear this song without going mental. i almost couldn't go on this ride, i was literally starting to ooze from the brain. so glad that i did, though, because it was probably the cutest thing ever. i wanted to pillage the scenery and take little souvenirs home. and by little souvenirs, i mean the ferris wheel and the entire hawaiian portion. luau!

fortunately we were rained into it's a small world, where we only had to listen to the song on repeat for the better part of an hour. *brain collapse*

when the magic kingdom is dark & stormy ... anyway. During the torrential rain, we ran shoeless to the haunted mansion, rode that spooky shit in the dark with the thunder & lightning crashing outside (awesome, awesome, awesome) & took shelter, praying that Spectromagic & Wishes wouldn't be cancelled. We were kind of grumpy, by this point, due to the soggy mouse ears we were wearing & not being able to enjoy the park the way we had hoped, so naturally we shopped it out.

this sight is something I swear I could look at forever. it is never any less beautiful, rain, shine, night, day. It's continually and always breathtaking.

Fortunately for us, while Spectromagic & Wishes were delayed, they weren't cancelled - so not everything was ruined! Spectromagic however, got stuck, probably due to the inclimate weather - and so we had to watch one portion of the parade (that I'm pretty sure I can recite by heart at this point) for around half an hour as it looped. And looped. And looped. I was in panic city - I thought I'd been left behind. Ciera & I were the only ones who seemed to notice it, everyone else was just alight with glee. I was more on the side of terrified and treading lightly into fearing for my life.

WISHES!!! We found out what the zipline was for *sobs* & watched the best & most emotional fireworks evahhhh. But then again, you knew that already - it's Disney. BEST OR NOTHIN! I honestly cannot wait to go back - we were there from roughly 11A until the park closed, and there is still so much we missed and were unable to fit in. As far as first times go, however, this was an amazing introduction to what is, undoubtedly, THE HAPPIEST. PLACE. ON EARTH. fin.

I'm not sure how you started following my blog but yours is adorable and I just love this post! Disney is so much fun, such a good time, and I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. I had a similar reaction to your Mickey/Minnie one with the Hello Kitty at Universal in Japan. I'm sure she was giggling at me, but I was just pleased as punch to have my picture with HK, and that's why they work there - people are genuinely so excited to see you, from the little kids whose eyes just light up to the adults who were kids once and loved your character! so neat.

And there I've left a novel. Sorry. Hi! :)
